A little bit about my blood sugar journey... I was told I was insulin resistant in 2017 after a glucose tolerance test my reproductive endocrinologist ordered for me when I was having trouble getting pregnant. And after conceiving, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes very early on. Since then, I've been diligently learning about blood sugar dysregulation and gathering data through constant finger pricks and CGM experiments since I am now at greater risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes in the future. I've learned A LOT about what works and doesn't work for my body, and how my body responds to different foods. I hope this video helps you on your path to a healthier lifestyle!

Hi good enough mama. I just recently started watching your videos. Thank you for making them. There's a lot of videos with information about what to and not to eat but none of them actually show actual blood sugar proof. I had a question? Have you found any teas that help lower or even spike up your blood sugar? I drink ginger lemon tea in the mornings (no suga) as I've heard many times that it's good for us, but I'm not sure of what it's doing to my blood sugar.

I love your videos. Can I ask you how long you have been pre diabetic? my mom is diagnosed with pre diabities and she already lost 7 kilo with diet she is 65. . but I am worried about her. is it true that prediabetic people can be pre diabetic for 10 years.?? if she changes her life style can she be prediabitiec forever? is the progress fast from pre diabities to diabetes or is just a slow process if you change your life style.

Thank you for the video. Can I ask why you buy fat free yogurt instead full fat. İf anything fat free I stay away from them:) I make my yogurt and kefir. I also make my sourdough bread with either wholemeal or rye flour.

Can you tell us why you are "carb conscious" instead of low carb? I don't get it. Why consume sugar at all? Why lactose, etc? Keto/low carb is just fine.

Is it just preference? Taste? Why not go all the way in avoiding insulin and blood sugar spikes? People have reversed type 2 on those diets. Why this half-way measure?

I am personally on a nearly zero carb diet and my blood sugar is just a flat 5.0 mmol (90 in American units) all the time with very little fluctuations.

I just do not understand why other type 2s on YouTube do this to themselves and demonstrate it.
