Kirkland greek yogurt with a scoop of good quality protien powder and a dash of honey tastes just like pudding, it's a game changer.

The nearest COSTCO to me is 14 miles away. Driving there takes 25-28 minutes, depending on traffic. The local Kroger is about 1 mile. I had a membership for 1 year; my son recommended it. When the year expired, I decided not renew. I'm single now and found that many food items at COSTCO are packaged in large size/volume, which is good for families but not so good for single people. So, I didn't renew membership.

Good information for sure. I'm currently leaning down while I build muscle so I'm looking at the protein to calorie ratio of food. I'm concentrated on foods with around 1 gram of protein for every 10 calories.

I’m 270 pounds I’ve realized dark meat like chicken thighs or skin gives you that bulky look and really helps your muscles develop and your brain and keep you feeling full just don’t eat too much

The key thing to keep in mind is that you want foods that have a high protein to calorie ratio. Anyone can overeat and get plenty of protein, but by eating foods that are both high in protein and lower in calories you get to your protein number more efficiently, and you ALSO keep room in your calories for delicious foods low in protein.

A good rule of thumb for me is to try to keep my grams of protein per calories at AT LEAST a 1:10 ratio for as long as I can during the day (which implies that at least 40% of my calories are from protein). If I'm eating a 2000 calorie diet and I can eat 100g of protein in my first 1000 calories, then I can have a pretty enjoyable second 1000 calories, and can fit in things like a burger or steak or even something sweet at the end of the day, which is really satisfying and helps make your diet more successful.
