My body stopped absorbing potassium and the effect was a nightmare. I would float in and out of consciousness, halucinated, and lost strength in my muscles. I ended up being airlifted to a major hospital where i was put on a potassium solution IV for a week before being transported to a rehab facility to work on regaining muscle strength. I spent over two months there and still have problems. The doctors never did find what caused that. And yes, I was tsking a suppliment as well as eating the proper foods. I am 76 y/o.
