When we see the stone work in these areas as shown in this video, we get a lot many thoughts as to how they were built and the engineering technology used and so on.

These structures found even in the area where Mayan civilization flourished and Egyptian civilization flourished when pyramids were built have a common feature that during the period when such construction took place civilization was well advanced and technology was also several times superior to that of our present times.

Now the question is why we are ignorant of those knowledge which was already available and is evident from these constructions?

So my view is we are deliberately kept in dark. That is we are not told the details of those technology and details of those who have built them. The simple reason why we are kept in dark is:
