Petra is several kilometers long. I've seen pics of walls there over a foot thick, mostly eroded away. How long does it take that much rock to erode away??? Longer than 5, 000yrs, I bet.

I like this documentary on Petra. It provides more views of areas of Petra than any other videos I've seen. It's also the first time I've seen an aerial view of of The Treasury and how high the hilly region is.
