Met Jo Koy at my store a few years back. The nicest guy. I couldn’t remember his name at the time but I remembered his Comedy Central specials and jokes. He took the time to talk to me, then went out to his car, brought me back those same specials on DVD and some random merch for free. Will always be a fan. Glad he’s still going.

Crazy to think he rented out a movie theater in Vegas to do his own shows when he first started out and his first Netflix special wasn't a special to begin with - Netflix didn't want to do it but he filmed it anyway on his own dime with the hopes that they would pick it up. He went all in (literally every dime he had) and Netflix ended picking it up. And 4 specials later here we are. It's such an amazing story!
