Sometimes I can get behind Marisol's reasonings but this episode has me going "Shut UP Marisol! It's Cultural appreciation not appropriation!"

The girl in back agreeing with Jo when he said “ plus I’m Filipino, so people always think im Mexican...” 🤣🤣🤣

If these two ever did a show together... I would find a way to afford that ticket and haul my butt to wherever the closest venue was!

I liked Marisol at first, but when they do moments like this, it just pisses me off. I come from a family with a lot of different ethnicities. German, Irish, Native American, Lebanese, Arabic, and I myself have a really pale skin tone. My dad makes amazing Mexican food, but he's not Mexican. My grandma makes great spaghetti, but she's not Italian.
If someone makes great food, and is able to earn money for their cooking talents, regardless of their race, more power to them!

As a part Filipino and Hawaiian raised in Hawaii I thought this was hilarious 😂 makes sense to me now why I often got mistaken for being Mexican

I love how Gabriel, even though he is usually on Marisol's side, also disgreed with her. "Why do you have to make food political?" Thats exactly what I thought too😭

Filipinos and Mexicanos are in the same familia. No amount of anglo-sajon revisionism can change that.

Hola a todas y saludo desde Filipinas!

When you think about it the The Philippines and Mexico have a few similarities
Both have been colonized by Spain
Both languages are influenced by spanish
And both have border issues with a World Power USA and China

One word that this comedians can be united to? Like making an alliance with two kingdoms? Mexican and Filipino? Common ground? Common word? "PUTA"

Mexican and Filipinos are somehow connected in our Philippine History.

We have Spanish Surnames to be exact because both countries was colonized by Spaniards.

And Also the Acapulco Trade

You guys don't know how happy it makes me seeing the comment section and not being the only one to think that Marisol was an entilted brat this episode.

Marisol: it's practically the same word!
Me: And you're practically a racist, just let the Filipino make his tacos!
