...for the year! Arch Linux is continually evolving and there are improvements happening all the time, so I wanted to share with you my latest "Golden Path" from scratch Intel UEFI installation with:

* BTRFS with autosnap thru Timeshift
* Auto boot backups during kernel upgrades
* Pipewire
* Zram for compressed swapping to system memory
* Solid state disk tweaks
* Bonus: Complete desktop environment with productivity software

Thank you Stephen. We asked for mkfs with subvols and you delivered.
I recall reading somewhere the yay authors are no longer updating it. I am using paru instead.

Great video, as always. In the last year learned from you how to effectively setup and use btrfs, with autosnap, using pipewire as a sound server and of course using zram. Has been very valuable, looking forward to the next videos. Thanks Stephen!

Ok, you got me to click on your FINAL Arch install. Arch only needs to be installed once. :-)

Hey! A fab and fascinating video - going to follow it and do an install tomorrow (11:10pm GMT here). I would like to install arch from scratch. Interesting tweaks! Subvols and trigger for kernel! Great. Thanks. Karen.

Do you also have problems to get the bluetooth run? I now it was possible in the past, but not anymore.
