John, an Israelite failed to identify the multitudes but when it comes to the 144, 000 He was able to identify them tribe by tribe. In short, the 144, 000 is the remnant of the woman mentioned in Revelation 12 that, yes though were sealed with the seal of God, but shall go through the Great Tribulation. However, two prophets of Revelation 11 will keep the safe until they'll be killed by the BEAST, As the BEAST turn to the 144, 000 to persecute them, Zechariah 14:1-4 states that Jesus will come down at Mount of Olives to defend the 144, 000.
