Even after painting cars myself for 30 years, I still enjoy watching painting videos. It's like ASMR for the eyes

Upol 2k primer was the first real automotive paint product I used, and to my surprise was quite easy and very forgiving. Last summer I had to resort to the system 20 filler after multiple failures with the well known 3m product. Spread and sanded super easy to perfection. The system 20 line also has a well-priced reducer at $40/gal im going to try. Plus after watching ur video ill prolly use the system 20 clear as well. Thank you for another great video.

I sell this clear at work all the time i always recommend it to the small car lots or weekend warriors that just want a quick job in and out let's be real the clear is cheap don't mean it sucks but it won't last as long as a clear that's double the price. Lakeside always killing it badass video

I like Upol stuff. Universal Upol clear is what I learned to paint with. Its not the best but if you know what your doing you can get good results. Its real easy to get runs with it especially in colder temps. It spray good in warm weather. Its low solids so in cool weather you really have to let it flash off between coats otherwise you get really bad dye back. Also because of the low solids, you should spray at least 3 coats maybe 4 in harsher climates for the UV protection. Plenty of flash time in between. I still use it for quick cheap jobs but I try to use better clears because they spray nicer and last longer. Clears in the $150-200 range are so much better and not that much more. Good thing about Upol is its cheap and available everywhere. Its crystal clear not yellow. Cuts and buffs effortlessly.

Switched to this exact clear over a year ago. For the money. I don't think it can be beat. Imo. Cuts like butter. Excellent gloss.

I was skeptical when I sprayed this clear . I got the kit for 60 dollars at oreilys . 3 years after spraying it I got to look at the car . Still looks good, Buffs well . Holds well . The only reason I stopped using this clear was because of water mark that would appear on cold rainy days where the water droplets would sit .
They would go away when the panel would get warm . I just didn’t want to have an issue with the customer.
This was a week after painting the vehicle

I like the price of that Upol clear! I paid $136 bucks last December for a gallon of PPG Omni MC270 clear at my local supplier to use with PPG's MBC base coat. I still had some Nason clear but was reluctant to mix brands. In your experience, is there anything to watch out for, compatability issues with putting one brand of clear over a different brand basecoat? Thanks for the great videos Jerry!

I've been trying to decide what paint to buy to paint my 96 Buick Roadmaster sedan. It was blue, but I'm painting it white. I was thinking about a single stage. But I'm not sure. I'll be doing one panel at a time since I don't have a garage. Or a second car. I figure I can disassemble, paint, and reassemble one panel a weekend since the body work is already done. Just needs sanded and cleaned. Possibly sealed. Although I don't think I'll use sealer. It's gonna look odd until it's done. But I don't care. I just want a clean, fresh, white paint job. For as cheap as possible
