Hello NetworkChuck,
I don't know your real name but you really motivate me. Got my CCNA five months back. Currently working as a network security engineer in a small company. Total beginner..struggling with basic troubleshooting. Real scenarios are totally different. Today after a tiring day when I watch your video I feel I am on the right track. Thank you!

GNS3 is the best tool that I have used!
although I am now getting my security lab environment set up though esxi server,
I still have the INE CCIE R&S through GNS3

Hey I have to say this equipment is pretty awesome especially for someone that is wanting to get into the network field its very educational and helpful indeed. I just signed up for packet tracer and its not too shabby i'm def taking full advantage of it and I wanted to tell that I truly appreciate you giving us some of your educational advice it's been nothing but beneficial and interesting. It's my first commenting on any of your vids but I have been behind the scenes snooping in and watching your vids and for someone that is interested in getting in the networking field this opportunity certainly takes my education a whole another level man so thank you again

Thanks that was helpful. The docent at cbt Nuggets uses eve-NG and when I looked up the system requirements I taught I was screwed. I'm going to try packet tracer right now!

Hello Chuck,
Thanks for sharing this. Packet Tracer doesn't have support for Policy Based Routing. GNS3 supports it. But really complicated configuration. And recently I load Router images to GNS 3, but console window of router sticks. I tried a lot. Thanks again.

How do you feel about CCT cert? I know CCENT is the entry kind of real cert with configuring routers and switches, but CCT is identifying catalyst switches or certain cli command for backup up config, save or load configs.

@chuck +1 for packet tracer. The army uses that for a training model for one of our schools

Just some routers switches.

What one is used for the CCNA test/exam? Do you have a choice?

Hmmmm. After I just finished up my AWS exams I decided to try to knock out the CCENT before February. Although you said to go Packet Tracer far too many times, I feel like GNS3 will actually make more sense to me since I'm used to Linux (my daily driver), Docker Containers, VMs etc.
