Despite of the simplicity, I always forget some detail on this recipe. Thank you for sharing!

I've been using Adler's method with the Fellow Prismo and the Chinese knockoff with a smaller exit hole (more pressure?). I increased the coffee amount to 30 grams (espress grind) and used 60 ml of water, instead of Fellow Prismo's recommended 50 ml. After plunging, I added hot water to taste. It's strong, but smooth.

One very interesting aspect of the original recipe is the low water temperature that is called for 175 F or 80 C. I feel like Adler really went interesting directions with the very fine grind but low temperature.

Just watched the Aeropress movie! Fun documentary for us coffee nerds! I'm curious as to how you guys feel Adler's recipe compares to other recipes. What is your preferred method? I'm assuming it's different from Adler's recipe. How do the results differ from Adler's recipe compared to your preferred recipe and what about the difference in the recipes do you think accounts for those difference in results? Thanks!

Have you ever put the coffee ground in the plunger. I did once. What a mess. I had to use the funnel to put it in the tube correctly. Great vid as always

It sounds like the Aeropress was designed to use the dilute method?

I'm pretty sure the original recipe calls for adding water up to the number "2" mark, rather than "1".

I just dont get the time. ive been using very fine grind (10-12 clicks on the timemore slim), but the plunge goes by so fast. Like 10 seconds.

I find it strange, as when I pour the hot water into the coffee, that before I can use the plunger the water has passed through into the cup... plus I use two filters...

Do you go up to the bottom of the "1" on the chamber of the top of the "1"?

I did this method and I got a very sour coffee. Minimum brew time for me is 2mins no less than that.
