Gday I'm an installer from Australia.
0.9 horse power is 2.5kw
1.4 horse power is 4.5kw.
Your installers are awesome.
You're a top bloke 👌

I walked 12 miles at midday in the baking sun today. Coming back to air con would have been heaven!!! I’m so jealous!

Great video thank you so much. Looking at this for my 87 year old mum and dad reckon we might be in for hot weather this summer! They can’t tolerate heat too well bless ‘em! so these look a good investment. Just need to find an installer for Cambridge area before they get fully booked! Cheers.💫

The copper will only crack if the flare is over tightened by not using a torque wrench.

Genius! I love the ac being next to the pc to help cool it down

I’m an Air conditioning engineer also, personally I don’t cut off the flair nuts, I have installed units 19 years ago with both evaporator and condenser Flaired and never had a leak, also I didn’t see him put any OFN in the pipes whilst braising to prevent carbon build up which could potentially shorten the life span of your unit. guess every engineer works differently

Was looking for recommendations in Kent as it goes! Hope they gave you a decent discount given the number of people that are going to get an install.

I supposed not to cut the flare nut for the future maintenance when you clean the in door unit or for relocation purposes 1st time saw cutting the flare nut.

Having seen this, and living in Kent, I would have liked Kent Air Solutions to come and give me a quote but they failed to turn up (without explanation) 3 times!

Hey ho have to go with someone else.

The guys who fitted these in your house did a good job. They cleaned up as they went along. Shows they respect your premises. Nice video.

The suction and discharge pipes need to lagged individually only real criticism.
Deffo chop the flare nuts off too just a leak waiting to happen.
Open end pipes in the driving rain ent really a good shout though.
Hang on wheres your strength and pressure test kid, and you should be vaccing the system down to 500 micron or half a torr, started so well disappointed if I'm honest no torque spanners on the flare nuts after saying how bad they are lololol

Interesting video, I’m hoping to move into a new build soon and this is high on the agenda. I currently use a portable unit. It’s effective but noisey and in the way. Thanks for sharing!

The total cost for both installs upstairs-downstairs was just over £2400 ( I did say £2300 sorry about that) but there is a lot of factors with the cost, time of year ease of install size of units and so on.
