I hate the phrase, “We have done this historically through our work…” it feels so detached from the actual conversation.
1) What you’ve done in your past doesn’t have an impact on what you’re doing now. Because historically, they’ve also supported an abuser. But we’re supposed to trust the history they decide to focus on more.
2) Nobody normal talks like this. It shows, to me, that she’s more focused on delivering the script as written as opposed to actually having a conversation about what’s going on. It shows where her focus is. She’s saying it’s on the victims, but it’s not. It’s on her script. It’s on selling this apology.

Literally, just say, “Sorry, we messed up, ” and move on. Or don’t say anything at all and let people forget. Both of those would be more authentic. If you historically support victims, then why do you feel so strongly to defend it? You could easily say nothing to the public and simply support victims in your own way or how you claim you’ve always supported them? Just keep doing that. Don’t tell us that you used to. Do it now and move on

I don't think it is relevant when you look at actor's body language since they are master manipulators and they know all of the tricks of how to communicate! Now if you're looking at just an average citizen that doesn't know any of this you can get a true reading but an actor is so camouflaged it's hard to know if this is real!

Well, they fought to give slack for a man who’s a rapist, I thought they were good people was happy for them when they got together, I figured Ashton would want children eventually so have they thought this thing through? "We have done this historically" has facial cue that can be that of a lie but it can also mean that she herself doesnt belive what she said even if others might have told her that this is true.

That being said i have no context of this so i cant analyze this in depth and it can be a number of things including that she doesnt belive that "historically" is the right word for it, but it can also be that she doesnt feel that they have done it in such a scale that they are doing it now.
