I find it hard to understand what does the final answer represents, is it the greatest answer possible? that's what I assume...

what if the answer is 0.1 +/- 0.2, but I know for certain that the answer has to be positive. How do I properly write that?

what if the question is (2.12±0.8)-(1.1±0.3)
is the answer 1.12±0.11 or 1.1±0.11
