Film description: For five years after the Decepticon invasion of Chicago, the Autobots were granted sanctuary into the Earth. Because of this, Optimus Prime has since lost his faith in humanity after the ambush that caused his injury and even considers leaving the planet until Cade Yeager, a mechanic, convinces him to reconsider his faith in humanity after helping him slightly recover. Together with his family, they join the Autobots to exterminate the bounty hunter, the reincarnated Megatron, and the Cemetery Wind.

Very depressing scene. It’s even more depressing that Ratchet’s remains were transported to KSI and they later melted him down. Ratchet was definitely a brave Autobot. We also see here that Ratchet tries to get Lockdown’s weapon off his chest. It’s also a war crime to kill medics since they aren’t actual gunfighters. 😢💔

Now that I remember, lockdown was also in the cartoons, basically that was his first appearance. In transformers animated. He also captured Ratchet and removed his EMP, leaving him unarmed

Sadly, Ratchet was killed by Lockdown and Cemetery wind. Without Autobot Medics, nobody can repair and heal someone else including Autobots anymore

The gruesome death of Autobot medic Ratchet at the hands of Mr. Attinger and his ruthless, corrupt, and renegade CIA black ops unit "Cemetery Wind" hit me hard!
I haven't forgotten this scene of Ratchet's gruesome execution from then until now, and I never will.

Man, they really didn’t have to kill ratchet like that. I hate how they needed to add this scene into the age of extinction movie. They neeed to bring him back in the movie after rise of the beasts. Cause this was just sad 😢😢

I wanted to fight Harold Attinger personally and say to his face, "You should have left the Autobots alone, you paranoid bastard."
I'm still a close friend of the Autobots and Optimus Prime and that won't change.
Since Transformers (2007) I have firmly established that the Autobots are good alien robots and the Decepticons are evil alien robots.
I would never turn against the Autobots.
