for those wondering, Blackout didn't die because of the shot to the crotch, he was also hit by missiles head on, they just emphasized the hit to the crotch because they wanted to make it seem like the soldier was the one to shoot him dead as he's one of the main characters

Am I the only one who actually liked the transformers designs in these movies? especially the first 3. They look practical and real, then take small inspiration from G1. It's not a bad look. I absolutely love the design of Blackout and Barricade, so menacing and badass.

Blackout was more badass than Megatron in this film, he was like an assassin who followed no one but himself. He just appears out of nowhere.

I remember this scene when I was in the cinema. I couldnt believe what I was watching. Transformers looked so real and badass. The CGI here is stunning.
Sadly last 2 movies were so lame.

Back when the 'Cons were an actual threat to even the Autobots, the humans and bots had to have numbers and teamwork just to take down even one. Even Optimus had a hard time going toe-to-toe with Megatron alone

I do have to admit, despite all of the flaws in these movies I will always appreciate the fact that humanity isn’t as passive as they were in some of the cartoons, they fought back along with the Autobots and actually managed to kill a few Decepticons

This is scene is amazing, how it brings the few soldiers who survived the base attack face to face with what destroyed them so easily the first time.
You can see in lenox face both fear and a look of "this is for my brothers"

I always like to think to myself that blackout was the real terrifying decepticon in this film yea megatron was the leader yea the others looked cool but everytime blackout came around the soldiers got frightened because they knew he could potentially be the strongest one, notice when lennox and his team were fighting brawl and he saw blackout land on top of the building he just states that they are so dead, and when blackout came outta nowhere they were scared to be seen by him

Blackout was one of the greatest warriors on the decepticon files, it took a really well coordinated attack to bring him down and he fought with no fear and with no help, on his personal side he also cared about his pet and friend, he had a loyal and at the same time kind spark, and from all the decepticon deaths i think this is one of the better ways to go, almost instantaneous with no suffering, rest in peace great soldier, you've earned it

I love how Blackout knew what the green dot was. I'm not saying that Cybertronians are stupid but I like how they made the effort to have him take notice of the green dot and think, "I'm going to put the smack down on Pri--WAIT. HUMANS."
