This scene gave chills in theatres. Whatever the criticising this franchise got, the sound team and vfx team deserved an Oscar for this unbelievable work.

Ratchet: what’s wrong with you humans. Me: everything

“Autobots, Decepticons, like little children: always fighting, making a mess out of the universe. Then I've got to clean it up” badass

After everything the Autobots did for the Earth, this is how the humans repaid them? Man, Green Goblin was right:
“In spite of everything you’ve done for them, eventually they will hate you”

This scene is one of the most exhilarating and heart breaking moments in this movie to me.

Savoy: Why you're running.
Ratchet: Well, you stupid humans used missiles, machine guns and all kinds of armory to attack me, how come I was not running?!
Humans were afraid of Cybertronians staying on Earth. Ironically, Cemetery Wind teamed up with a Cybertronian bounty hunter to hunt down Cybertronians who have saved their world 3 damn times. It didn't make any sense at all that they trusted such a ruthless Cybertronian instead of the Autobots.

By far the most crude and brutal scene in the whole quintology. At least Ironhide's death wasn't as slow and agonizing. Sure, brutal as he fell to pieces, but this took it to a whole new level. ESPECIALLY with a precense like Ratchet, a staple in the film saga having made the audience company for, by then, 7 years. And to add insult to injury, seeing him getting curbstomped like that by the humans didn't help much to its reputation.
However, thinking about it, I came to see why this scene was needed: Establishing Lockdown as a threat, and Cementry Wind as a very evil precense that must be stopped, using a fan favorite like Ratchet for maximum effect.

The way Rachet says, "Lockdown", is filled with dread.

I like how at one point ratchet had no point but to shoot back. I feel like ratchet died the most honest death. It was logical. He protected Optimus by not giving his whereabouts.

This proof that Rachet is a loyal friend to optimus prime and that he shows that he will die for he’s best friend🥺🤕

Because I like Ratchet so much, one of my favorite Autobots since the beginning, this is really painful one to watch. I also feel disgusted that Savoy actually smiles at the most peace-loving and diplomatic Autobot doctor's sufferings and using his sister's death as an poor excuse to hunt down a good guys.

“Autobots, Decepticons; like little children. Always fighting. Making a mess out there in the universe. Then I’ve got to clean it up.”

Lockdown sounds like the most mature cybertronian out of all of them.

He's mine now
Ratchet: Lockdown

Lockdown: Autobots, decepticons, like little children, always fighting. making a mess out of the universe. That I got to clean it up. There's one way you survive. Tell me where he's hiding. Where is Optimus Prime.

Ratchet: Never
*Lockdown Kills Ratchet*
Lockdown: Never is here.
*Lockdown transforms into a Lamborghini*
(Officaily my favorite Transformer villain, sounds awsome with those similies!)

I remember everyone being so silent and in shock in the Theatre when they seen Ratchet Die. That’s when we all knew Lockdown didn’t come to play games

We’re just gonna ignore the fact that he was hiding in a SMOKE STACK??? And how deep is that water that Lockdown was able to hide in it???
