The shoe is only meant to withstand a few 100 miles. You’re correct that it is hard to get your hands on these shoes because of it being sold out and pricy. Though these reasons are irrelevant to not buy the shoe. People have wants and needs. These are unnecessary reasons just to get attention.

Too late, I bought a pair. For those who only see them as racing shoes, I have worn the Alpha 1s for over 500 miles and the Alpha 2s for over 600 miles without any injuries.

these shoes are racing shoes lol not jogging, not everyday, not soccer. they're designed to get the best out of you for a few races.

I had my first alphafly in 2020, and they are basically same quality as the 3. I worn them for 4 years everyday for walking and jogging, and they are not broken or damaged... I am not sure what people are doing in order to break them, but durability wise, they seem perfectly fine. However, If you're playing soccer, ball kicking, or competitive sports with it, they will definitely break i think. I personally use them for everyday comfort shoe.

T'was only 248 usd when I bought it on Nike's and i found it here in Youtube that it can last up to 500 miles up

Paid 295 for mine. Never in a rush to buy a shoe and they always come out with new colores and the ones in this vid are old and last years model. A new color has since came out and another on the way.

The new colour is available at present on their site. Plus they’re a competition shoe. They’re designed to perform and equally for those who train consistently and can get the best from them. The AI voice is horrible.

If you’re looking for that fast Mara/half these could be the shoe. If you know someone with your size try them as they can rub your arches and give blisters. Don’t bye for 5k. 10k maybe worth but these a lot of options in the 10k
