As a Vietnamese international student, i curse you for making me feel so hungry and home-sick at 1am in the morning. But for real tho Vietnamese snack game is crazy, fried corn has a special place in my heart and i practically just massacered a factory-size bag when i was visiting for Tet.

I have a coworker from Vietnam, one from Korea, and one from the Philippines and I appreciate them so much for always bringing snacks for us all to try. Only thing is that they all think their country has the best snacks but still appreciate trying new ones 😅 I’m just here for all the snacks LOL Vietnamese coworker brought some chewy banana candy once and they were so addicting! I hate American banana candy flavor but these tasted like perfectly ripe bananas.

I loved taking this "trip" w/you. No matter what country we are from, there are some things we love to eat! This was so much fun! Thank you for sharing some of your snacks with us!

My city (Kharkiv, Ukraine) has a large Vietnamese diaspora, so I've tried many Vietnamese snacks, but nothing beats the gooey corn candies and tiny sweet-and-spicy breadsticks.

05:00 Uyen trying the black sesame snack was a really good reenactment of the Kombucha Girl meme 😄

All the dried meats are great beer snacks. Maybe have your fiancee try them with beers. Snacking on dried squid alongside you.

I imagine a lot of these snacks would be sold here in Australia (we have a huge Vietnamese population). I might go to a Vietnamese supermarket after work today and try to find some of these snacks. The jelly looks interesting! Thank you for showing us your culture and food Uyen :)

Omg I'm super addicted to spicy thịt bò khô. It's so cute that after all these 20 years, my family still remembers my taste in food and always welcome me with some when I come back home🥺

Oishi is a Filipino snack brand.

However, the Corn, and Indo snacks are not available here in the Philippines. We have Pinattsu here, but not the coconut flavor. But we do have the prawn flavored chips.

"Lương khô bay" is like a powder containing a lot of protein, including soybean powder. As Uyen said, it is trendy in the military because this is a type of " snack" You can bite a corner of it and drink some water and you are good to go. I wouldn't say it is a popular snack though, considering only a few people knew about this snack. My dad would sometimes buy a whole pack of this since he rarely participated in family dinners and he would always bring with him a pack. The flavor is quite complex, it is a mix of a biscuit, and sometimes it includes some light artificial flavor. Btw I love your videos Uyen! I'm a student and I always often watch your videos, it is relaxing weirdly. Anyway, have a good day and keep up the great work!!!🙌

This is sort of off-topic but I tried summer rolls today! Turns out after my mum saw videos of spring/summer rolls with crispy bottoms on she bought some rice paper, and I came upon a big bagful of it sitting in the kitchen. I am vegetarian and we didn't have any vermicelli so I just stuck a load of salad in mine, which I know may not be the full experience. Rice paper is something I haven't experienced before as a brit and it's honestly such a fun experience! It's so stretchy!

I'm so envious when I watch vloggers trying Asian snacks, because they are always so ingenious! In my country you mostly have chips and pretzle with basic flavours like sour cream+onion/garlic, paprika, pizza, salty, spicy, bbq and so on.

The man who fed you a 'salad' made of sliced boloney and cheese has no room for dissing your snacks as unhealthy.
