I like how one take the time to prepare for lunch and the other just orders food instead 🤣

As a German myself, I totally would have wanted one of those spring rolls too. I think they look really tasty.

I feel like the Vietnamese breakfast would leave me feeling nourished for so much longer than just cereal.

My jaw drops at the time and energy you put into making so many cooked meals. I'm both envious and exhausted at the thought.

I find it so healthy that both of you eat what you feel like eating, if it coincided, great and if it doesn't, y'all have no problem. So nice!

Your content really opens my eyes to various healthy levels of autonomy within a relationship. It challenges my preconceived notions and misguided misconceptions about what constitutes a loving relationship.
This is therapeutic✨

Not eating the same food but eating together and eating what you both like together is super important and healthy!

I’d love to see more of these!
Her diet is so healthy and I like to see how she incorporates veggies in each meal

I like the idea of couples not always eating the same thing when together. A level of independence is healthy and avoids resentment.

I really love this example of how couples don't have to eat all the same things. My spouse and I are similar, and it's nice to see that it works to just eat different foods. Thanks 😊

Making yourself or your partner eat something they don't necessarily want just so you can eat the same thing is silly. Enjoy what you like! It's nice that you're together, that's all.

Honestly it is really sweet you guys have these types of boundaries you respect with no judgment. It is sweet that you can find some middle ground, but culture is culture and sometimes, damn, you just want some spring rolls

I really love this. That you can do your own thing and still come together. No one is trying to force something on the other.

In my family we also do this. My mother is Moroccan and my father is Italian, and although my father really enjoys Moroccan food there are some things he doesn't like, especially if there are lots of spices. In that case he usually cooks himself something while my mom and I eat traditional Moroccan food (as a mixed race child who has lived in both countries I enjoy both so no problem for me haha)

I love watching your "what we eat" videos because it really shows a relationship is two different people coming together and i think there's nothing wrong with that ❤️

As a german I still prefer asian food over any on this world. I love everything about it.

As someone who has a boyfriend from a different culture (the one I was born and raised in, while my parents are immigrants from another country), I wouldn't like not being able to share my food with him or vice versa, it's also easier to just cook the same thing for both.

However, I do find amazing how you two still respect each other's culture and cuisine. There are many ways we can connect with our partner, food is among them, but definitely not necessary!
