Many years since the book and the 90's film and I'm still heartbroken by Laurie and Jo not ending up together. This remake was so special especially this part. They was Laurie says "I love you, Jo" with that look, I mean, Timothee "Peach" Chalamet stop it okay!

Maybe because the whole movie was perfectly written and Saoirse and Timmy has the perfect chemistry that's why Jo and Laurie not ending up in this version of little women is very very very sad. I've watched it 2 weeks ago and i can't stop rewatching every jo and laurie scene then get sad every time 💔 especially the proposal scene, peak devastation.

I get that she didn`t accept his proposal back then because she hadn`t discovered her feelings for him and just saw him as this really good friend, but that they didn`t end up together later on broke my heart. They were totally meant for each other (and let`s be honest, Amy was just Lauries rebound)
