My mom asked me to watch this movie with her. It was beautiful. I understand why Amy & Laurie ended up together but I was rooting for Jo the whole time. Also this cast was mwah chefs kiss. They're all so beautiful.

This is so beautiful, honestly. I love all of your edits, and the coloring is so pretty and visceral. I think you captured such an atmosphere with this one, one that is both melancholic and rapid, switching between the three characters in such a way that it really portrays alternating bitterness and joy and mutual dissatisfaction between the three of them, which was aided by the incredible song choice - it’s both shaky and sad and slows down to match the movement of the video, but swells around 1:17 ish, making it feel like an outpouring of something very bittersweet. The joyful, ecstatic moments are naturally black and white, and the rest is in color, but faded and somehow more drained. The way the writing contributes to the tone and the clips of audio adds to the music is just *chef’s kiss* so good. That shit hits different

I always felt Jo didn't really loved Laurie in a romantic way, and the only reason she changed her mind towards the end was out of fear of ending up alone. But i always shipped their characters in adaptations, until this Amy came along. I fell in love with Greta's and Florence's portrayal of her, so i was really happy when she ended up with Laurie. It's a beautiful movie and this is a gorgeous edit, as per usual.

I was younger and I read the book I was mad because Jo didn't end up with Laurie. When I watched the movie, there were so many times I needed to cry. I relate to Jo so much and this entire movie was painful though beautiful.

ahhh it's so sad how Jo never really loved him in a romantic way but she got selfish in the end. wanting him for herself so she can feel loved. but i'm glad Amy got recognised for the love she actually had for Laurie. it was a wild ride, i'm telling you. 😣 but yeah, totally loved the ending since everybody got their happy ending! c:

I believe that one dislike is a person who cried so much to the point their eyes were too blurred to see the like it button so they accidentally hit the dislike. Another lover hits the universe sadly, I can't say I'm a fan of Amy and Laurie, but I see the appeal of not always having that typical romance. I do agree with you about the cast, sooo perfect.

I still haven't seen this movie (I know shame on me), but this edit is so beautiful! I love everything about this though. It came out beautifully between the parallels, scene choices, everything. Just the atmosphere of this whole thing was great <3

I was right! Absolutely gorgeous! I watched the older Little Women movie with my Grammy when I was younger, so this movie is very dear to my heart. As a little girl, I couldn't figure out why Lori would end up with Amy. I understand it a little more now, although not completely. I think you brought to life the complexity of the relationship between the three of them beautifully, and the song choice was magnificent. You should be very proud of yourself, Miss Lauren.
