This is definitely one of the most misunderstood anime of all time. Everyone says that even after the mc helps the girl, 15 years later she married someone else and didn't wait for him but that was not the goal of the mc, he never intended to save her so that she marries him or that he liked her in a romantic way( Remember he was an adult and wasn't in love with a little girl ). Not everyone helps people and expect something in return. But unfortunately almost every single comment about this anime is always people saying this same thing.
