The family was definitely held at gunpoint and then abducted. The wallet and wristwatch sitting on the ground was probably an offering the dad made to the guy holding them up. “Here take my watch and wallet” thinking the guy just wanted to rob them.

19:16 I live about 7 minutes away from where the yogurt shop was. today it's just a sad strip mall, and i had no idea about the murder case until a few years ago. it's super eerie to live basically a stone's throw away from where it happened. austin doesn't generally have a lot of notable cases like this besides the lady bird lake "killer"

Even if little wasn’t responsible for the family’s death I’m still in shock that a man who killed somebody, get a life sentence, serve only 8 years AND BE PAROLED?! what on earth is the justice system exactly justice for who? The killer?! Absolutely awful work.

When my son was 4, I wanted to go hiking with his father. Once we arrived and he got the most horrific gut feeling that he backed up and sped out of there. I’ve never seen this men so scared! Safe to say never has he allowed me to go hiking with our child and I respect that.
