▶︎▶︎ Sergio Perez has had yet another atrocious GP in Belgium, where he finished 8th after starting 2nd, and after the criticism he’s received for holding up Verstappen in the DRS train with Russell, it seems like his future is now more than certain. With a crucial meeting being held by Red Bull that will centrally revolve around the future of the Mexican driver, Ricciardo and Lawson are the primary candidates to replace Perez if that is to happen in the next 11 races of the season, but what does Tsunoda have to say about this, and more importantly, is Perez concerned about his future not just in Red Bull, but in the sport in general?

There will be a meeting between Perez, Horner & Marko this evening to discuss what the best is they can do in order to win the constructors championship this year. Now with Perez his recent performance, do you think he should be getting replaced from the next race onwards? And if so, who is the driver that deserves that second seat at Red Bull next to the reigning world champion? 🧐

Why is nobody talking about Adrian Newey? The RB downturn quite literally coincided with Adrian deciding his future lay elsewhere, and effectively being put on "gardening leave" for the rest of the season. To me that just shows how important Adrian was to RB.

Your headline says 'it's over' so just what is over nothing said at all about anyone or anything thats over. Load of rubbish😢😢😢

Albon got 6 months and was replaced, Perez has had years in a world championship winning car and is miles behind his teammate..time for someone else to have chance

Perez isn’t going anywhere this year. Bank on it. It would be an absolutely silly move.

There is no question who to put in place of Perez and that's ricciardo, he was the only driver who can take the fight to vestappen, no brainer.

It's already come out that they are sticking with Perez for the remainder of the season.

RB always had strategy of focussing on lead driver .which is clear that they never had a successful 2nd driver when they were winning championships. It helped them till the others didnt have an monstrous car as theirs .now with others catching up they have to focus on both cars

Its been a trend for tears now that Checo performs in initial races when the car is same, then the upgrades shifts towards Max likings where the upgrades are tried on Checo car, Checo performance goes down . When Max champiomship is secured the upgrade is shifted and Checo starts going up again .
And knowing RB they wont have continued with Checo if he wont have been performing to what they expected .

They have to do something with Liam, he proved himself last year enough, getting points in difficult races, yes I'm a bit biased being a kiwi but he has raw talent like piastri and if they don't give him a drive he will end up at audi

Yes dani ric is the best option in my opinion let lawson get some experience in f1 againts yuki at v carb a d if dani doesnt cut it they ha e the option between yuki or lawson at the end of the year yuki is a great driver and it would be a really good base for liam to get to and maintain but i do think dani will suprise people in that rb tbh ut if he doesnt then they have two good options there

You are just trying to sell more smoke than reality. It is understandable that you want an european driver in his place. But you need to look at the entire picture, like the poor strategies that the team gives to Checo.

Perez has lost whatever he had. His time is up. Give lawson a go.

This is unfair for checo! Redbull didn’t add all the upgrades that max got on his car to checos. This is unfair to😢

Well this guesswork you all do didn't work,
I know you put this stuff out to get views but why not wait and have a reaction video to the news rather than guess and look stupid

I don't understand why RB is playing with Perez, on one hand they extending his contract and on the other, they are complaining.
In this sport you don't always get good performance and big sponsors from one driver.

Perez will find a seat if bounced, He has a large number of backers.

The cat has been designed solely around Max’s driving style. So any other driver is always going to compare poorly against him.

I think perez needs a different car, I do not think red bull is the car for him, its developed for the other driver, i think if he went to Mercedes instead of Red Bull, we would be talking about what a great number 2 he is, I do not think he would be world champion but I think the longer more understeering car suits his get in a groove and put up lap times style of driving better than a car that is loose to be fast
