I still recall when a striking John Deere employee was asked just how long they could continue fighting against such a huge company: He replied, "One day longer than they can."

So happy workers are finally standing up for themselves. I only hope it's not too late to stop the inflationary prices on housing, goods and lowering wages that started decades ago.

This is brilliant. The working class needs to be launching offensives like this, not just playing defense.

It's a tall order, but if this boycott thing turns out to really make a difference and bring down tyrant businesses; maybe Amazon should be put on the "hit list". I haven't used them in years! Great report, Krystal! :)

About time workers take action together rather than pay someone to bargain for them while they still collectively produce.

Remember this: The people politicians, corporations, big business and the elite step on, WE'RE everyone they depend on. WE are the people who do their laundry and cook their food and serve their dinner. WE make their bed, WE watch, teach and care for their children while their gone, WE guard them and they're children while they sleep. WE drive the ambulances, WE take out their garbage, WE direct they're calls. WE are cooks and taxi drivers. WE process their insurance claims and credit card charges and WE know EVERYTHING about them. WE could pretty much control or destroy EVERY part of their lives. WE are the red-headed step-children of history, raised by television to believe that someday WE could ALL be presidents, millionaires, movie stars and rock stars...but now because of their all-consuming greed and corruption; WE can't and WE won't. And WE'RE just NOW slowly learning this fact and WE. ARE. PISSED.

My suggestion to Breaking Points: Have once a week a section about labor struggles, unionizing efforts, etc. maybe with a guest, an organizer on the ground or a union economist. There is no progress without social conflict, decided in favor of working people.

Take note. You don't necessarily need the union, you just need the collective action. Although that collective action is, in theory, better protected in a union.

2:07 It's at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky airport (CVG). It's like Newark, only friendlier.

To work for a company that hates you, what a life.

In Australia each type of work comes under an award that directs employers about conditions, wages & leave. Full time employees get 4 weeks paid leave each year. Why don't they demand the same of their legislators

How many people in support of the workers have an Amazon Prime account and regularly use Amazon to purchase things?

Amazon is the future of America. Slogan. ( We don't give a F...)

Sorry but all companies are not the bad guys and all employees are not taken advantage of. Unions use to have a place in this country, now they are just money grubbing organizations that are bad for business, bad for the economy and bad for those they represent.
