I worked in an Amazon warehouse for like 3 months! Worst job I’ve ever had!

Sorry, but is no way I would ever work for Amazon. If your crying at your place of work it's not a very good job.

I used to work JUST as he is describing at Nike when I was in my 30's. I lost 60 lbs easily in 6 months and was strong, energetic and happy. 12 hr shifts. I have done this all my life. Began at age 14. I am now disabled at 40, at 58, ready for back surgery, legs swelling from ruined veins, I am crippled.. TAKE CARE OF yourselves. This work, especially standing 12 hrs, will destroy your body!!!

When he said he had to constantly eat to maintain his normal weight, when he said he wanted to cry, when he said you got 8 minutes to find the bathroom, use it and get back, when he said machines monitor his work output...it really is Disturbing.

I personally know grown men who have cried on the job at Amazon

As a Amazon driver, our job isn’t as half as bad compared to the warehouse workers. No one is constantly micro-managing you, you have 10 hours to finish your route and you get help. The only thing that sucks is loading your truck. I hope things improve for the warehouse workers

Learning about how Amazon treated its most valuable asset, its workers, has actually impacted my consumerism. I started buying far less from anywhere and much less from Amazon when a pregnant friend of mine had to work and was actually losing a terrible amount of weight working there. They make no exceptions and really don't care if their workers suffer. I have saved a lot of money and my home is cleaner now.

150% yearly worker turnover should tell you everything you need to know about Amazon.

It’s not even the physical demands that are the worst, it’s the mental battle. You have to force yourself to do the same monotonous task over and over again for 10hrs. It’s just torture and pain man, you can see it in his eyes.

I hated working for Amazon. I quit after a month. when you’re body hurts just walking into the shower, you know something’s wrong. I couldn’t take a normal dump cuz I literally didn’t have enough time during that stupid 15 min break…using the restroom was considered your break. Screw Amazon.

Until there is an actual robot to replace you, we need you to function as close to a robot as possible.

This is what it looks like when a billionaire never thinks he has enough and ithinks that he is so important that he can make the lives of other people miserable. Dehumanize them use them as interchangeable disposable bots.

NEVER IN A BILLION YEARS WOULD HE STAND FOR THIS TREATMENT FOR HIMSELF OR HIS FAMILY.

12 hour shifts at a shitty job like that is way too damaging to the body and should be banned. 8 hour shifts should be the max.

Audience: That's despicable!

Also the Audience: I ordered my new toaster 12 hours ago and it's still not here! 2 stars.

The Amazon (warehouse) position specifically, is NOT a job for the middle aged or the elderly that is for sure!!
