Oakley PRIZM Snow Review: Black Iridium | SportRx

Jason Prescott from Oakley joins SportRx for a review of the darkest PRIZM Snow lens: Black Iridium. Black Iridium works best on a bright sunny day and its silver finish makes it one of the more conservative looking PRIZM snow lenses. On our testing day we didn't exactly have the optimal conditions for Black Iridium, but even on a overcast day it gave us nice color & contrast.

Look at the Jade Lens at Tylers move...awesome...its glowing. The lenses really look so much better on that Line Miner

Hello again from Argentina. I send you a great greeting and excellent review. At the end I bought the airbreake xl and I have the prizm black iridium and prizm rose lenses. I wanted to know if it is necessary to buy an intermediate lens like Jade or sapphire or torch (prizm) or if what I have is fine for when it is not so sunny.

So lets say that it is a very sunny and bright day and you choose the black iridium. How are they performing in shadow. Because even if its sunny, some areas om the mountain will be in the shadow. Now I have a pair of hi pink but want to complement with an extra lense. Is black iridium the way to go?

Hello, I have the Prizm Torch and the Rose. What would you recommend me to get for really bright sunny days sapphire or black iridium? Will the Sapphire be okay still, I noticed in your site you say that the Sapphire is a little better than the torch for sunny days is that true?
