I'd really like it if you could compare them back to back putting the camera through the lenses so we can get a sense of the difference. I think i'd like something not too dark for everyday.

I bought a pair of oakley prizm torch goggles last year without thorough research for I was not a skier. After watching this video, I am super glad to hear the great reviews and know that the store worker pointed me in the right direction for a middle of the road lens. Great information in the video!

I asked for this video maybe 2 weeks ago, and sure enough, you guys delivered. I ended up getting the Airbrake XL with the PRIZM Black lens because it was the most affordable for me at the time. I had a chance to use them when I went boarding at Chestnut Mountain in Galena IL. It was super foggy with an overcast when we got there, and I have to say that the PRIZM Black lens performed great. I thought I was gonna have to throw the Rose in right away. You honestly can't go wrong with any Prizm lens. Thanks for the videos.

I got the fall line with the Jade lense! Just got the Rose lense too! Jade is good for blue bird and everything else beside heavy fog! Which lense is best for night riding?

How would the Sapphire Iridium be in early evening and late nights? However very good lighting at the resort. Definitely love the color because it matches my board! Looking at the Oakley flightdeck in Moonrock Sea/Prizm Sapphire Iridium. Thanks for the help!

Okay, I need to know if you've had any issue or heard of anyone having an issue with fogging with these prizm goggles?? I just used mine over in Steamboat for the first time and couldn't even enjoy my ride because the fogging got so bad. I saw that in the videos you had the goggles tucked underneath the helmet not over it. Is that the issue? Or is it the actual helmet that I own (GIRO) that doesn't have enough ventilation? HALP!

Hi, Great review.. Are there any OTG goggles with prizm technology? As I am wearing my prescription eyewear while skiing?

I'm buying a pair of airbrake xl goggles tomorrow. I was thinking about going for sapphire and his pink. We get a lot of days where my local mountain is right in a cloud and I like to night ride so I think hi pink will be good for that. However, I'm not sure how well the sapphire will do on those blue bird days. Any advice?

Do the flight decks come hi pink? I have the jade and I know they have the rose but would prefer the high pink for that end of the spectrum?

Is the Hi-Pink too dark for night riding? I am looking for something to use at primarily at night, but still will work on really overcast days. I am wondering if it would be better to just go with the Hi Yellow even though it doesn't have the Prizm tech. I also have the Prizm Jade.

Thanks for the awesome videos! Now with the end of the season I want to get a new second lens for my Flight Deck (not the right time I guess) and I am surprised to see that the Prizm Rose with 26% VLT is considered to be a low light lens, when it is an S2 lens.

If we stick to the VLT criterion, the Black Iridium (S4) would be like the Sun Green (S3) from Smith; the Sapphire, Jade and Torch (S3) like the Sun Blackout, Platinum and Red (S3) from Smith; the Prizm Rose (S2) like the Everyday Green, Violet and Red (S2) from Smith. The Smith Everyday Rose (S2) would be somewhere in between the Prizm Rose and the Hi-Pink (S1), and this one would be more similar to the Storm Rose (S1) from Smith and a bit darker than the Yellow Storm (S1). Is this correct?

However, in Oakley it seems that the Rose is a polyvalent low lens rather than an everyday lense as its VLT suggest. And the Hi-Pink is described as a lens for really bad conditions (like the Yellow Storm) instead of simple a low light lens as the Storm Rose from Smith. The I/Os usually come with a Sun or Everyday lense plus a storm lens. In Oakley you would expect then to get a Hi-Pink as second lense and any other as first lens. However, usually it is an S3-S4 lens plus the Hi-Pink or the Rose. But isn’t the Rose too dark for a second lens? Is the Hi-Pink not so dark as to be ditched as normal low lens by the Rose?

To summarise: would you say that the Prizm Rose is much suitable for low light conditions than the Smith Everyday lenses with a similar VLT?

Thanks for your help!

@SportRx Im looking forward to buy an Oakley goggle (more specifically the Line Miner XM), but i dont know what lens to get. Since extra lenses are very expensive i want one i can use all the time without having to worry too much. Im thinking of either torch iridium or saphire iridium. Which one would you guys recommend? Or is there another lens that would be even better for my needs?

Looking for a new goggle for mountain snowmobiling. Blue bird days are rare so something that provides contrast is important. Also, something that won't fog is #1!!! It can be a super cold day and you'll still be sweating when riding a sled in the mountains, I have a hard time finding a goggle that works. I've tried anti fog stuff that you apply to lenses, and it doesn't keep up. How are these for fogging? Do they fit well on MX style helmets??
