Oakley’s PRIZM technology is amazing but a lot of people aren’t sure which PRIZM lens they should choose for the conditions they ride in. SportRx teamed up with Oakley and went snowboarding & testing all the different PRIZM snow lenses and here’s our first review of the PRIZM Snow series: the Sapphire Iridium.

I'm confused the Oakley site has prism sapphire at 13% not the 17-20% you mentioned. Have their lens tints changed ?

Would you recommend this lens for a bright sunny day? Is it a big difference between Sapphire Iridium and Prizm Rose (now I mean also for a bright sunny day)?

I bought these googles this week and had a session in the Alps in similar whiteout conditions. Agreed they went better than other Cat 2 lens I've tried in those kind of conditions, but thinking purchasing the Prizm Rose additional replacement lens could be worth the investment.

This is awesome and super helpful guys. One quick question: Online to purchase there seem to be two blue options: Prizm Sapphire Iridium and Prizm Sapphire Iridium Light Blue. Which did you test out here?

The only thing left to know in your informative reviews (including the others) - is what lens color we're seeing when looking through from the inside - what color is the world painted in wearing them ? For the Sapphire here - is it like a charcoal gray, a reddish, a greenish, a yellowish, or a blueish shade ? Or even better one I would prefer is a bronze/brownish shade - such as on my Oakley Whisker Platinum w/Gold Iridium sunglasses .... charcoal gray tint would come in at second with me in preference, I mean who wants to see white snow or anything else in rainbow colors - I just think the wow factor ends up irritating you in the short run ahem the long one too since you'll be stuck with it i.e. if you buy the Line Miner Inferno Prizm from Oakley.

So yeah, what color are we seeing through when wearing them Prizm lenses - in the Sapphire Iridium, Jade Iridium, Torch Iridium. I think in your other reviews it was clear ahem colored in the Hi Pink (Pinkish), Rose (Reddish), and charcoal grey in the darkest one.

Keep up your good reviews, and never stop improving them;)

Hi SportRx, love the helpful vids. Am seconds away from purchasing prescription Oakley Flaks in XS, and am wanting a blue coloured lens (for running). I understand brown polarised with mirror coating is my best bet, as I have ultra light-sensitive eyes. Can you please recommend a blue lens based on my requirements? I'm confused with all the different blue options, but really want the one which is best in bright sunlight but still keeps the lovely polarised contrast. T H A N K Y O U :o)
