I just saw the Reddit feed with a bunch of people hating and calling you “arrogant” and stuff. I just wanted to say that me, along with 95% of your viewers, completely disagree. Most of us find your videos motivating, inspiring, and they push me to work harder. You’re by far the best college you tuber in the industry. Keep up the great work!

You are helping literally thousands of high schoolers with their college applications and I cannot thank you enough!!!! Love your videos!

i love listening to you talk! to me, a "soft spike" is adjacent to a "theme" in your application. im overall weary of people doing things for the sake of college, so i really like the idea of doing what you like and packaging all of it later :)

You're honestly ahead of the game as a freshman. I'm just _now_ starting to to recount all the tips/tricks I learned in college (at 25). You're gonna kill it at Stanford!

I'm a freshman and I'm very grateful for your channel. This is very helpful and I love how you explained why you have to state why you do or chose the certain extracurricular. I'm so surprised you don't have a million subs but here is a special thank you keep posting 👍

It’s incredible how much you’ve helped me this year. I recently hit an obstacle in my academic life where I didn’t know where I was going or why I was doing things, and I’ve always been super ambitious to shine in school. You’ve helped me understand who I am and what I need to do to recenter myself; I cannot thank you enough ❤️❤️

So basically: if you are pre-med/stem student, and have medical science study abroad/research programs for 3 summers, take Ap bio, ap chem, ap physics, and write your essay about how you want to use medicine as an innovation to positively change this world, its pretty straightforward?

I paused the video to write this— I wanted to say that I completely disagree with all the haters calling you arrogant! I’ve been watching college videos almost nonstop for a year and your channel is by far one of the most helpful ones I have come across! What you’re doing is great and you deserve all the success that you have achieved. Personally, I do sometimes feel bad about myself when you talk about your accomplishments/show yourself being super productive. But I know that it’s all done with good intentions, and the way I feel doesn’t have anything to do with you! Overall watching your videos is super motivating and helpful for the college application process. Thank you so much 😊 p.s. the haters gonna hate!

I just came back to say that I finally figured out my spike! Don't wanna linger too long on it, because it isn't what I want to talk about. What I want to say is that figuring out my spike, finding a uniting purpose in what I have done, was actually a moment of self discovery for me. Almost like piecing little bits of me together to see something I didn't before. I understand myself way better now.
