But it doesn't always work out.. my friend found a roommate on Facebook and they got along pretty well until they moved in together and um.. they hate each other. But they can't switch roommates cuz it's too late. So you can't really control whether you'll get a good roommate or a bad one unless you've known the person for awhile

i would go for one roommate. 2 roommates will have a third wheel (not taking any chances to being the third wheel, have too much childhood trauma), and 3 other roommates would be my second option, but it always comes out to two groups of two, and if there are two people that are close to each other, then you’re practically stuck with the other person.
