I'm white, after Vietnam 70-71 I resumed my career as a professional drummer.I was blessed to be able to back up talent like this, the black bands I toured with treated me like a brother. I love the black community and feel more at home with than my own .my first love was a lady of color and never before or since have I experienced love to that degree.

I was a young teacher in Liverpool in the ‘70’s. I lived my life to the soundtrack of sublime music like this.
I taught delinquent lads and was privileged to be best man at one lad’s wedding but stood at one of my lad’s grave when he took 8 bullets to the chest.
This music is still wonderful.
