Drill the holes out, save time and effort. Plus, it will look a lot better. I can see if the FRP is already installed and you have to make a cut to adjust then yes, heat gun and knife. Thanks for the tip. For straight cuts use power sheers.

Of course a hole saw would have been better, but I think he was just showing how effective this method is.

Great tip. It avoids that lethal glass fiber dust you get when sawing this stuff. Wear a dust mask when sawing it. I always make the cuts outside if possible. Power shears are the best if you can afford/rent/borrow or steal some.

I feel like the video was sped up a little, so it probably really took even longer

Kinda butter you been eatin bro? Its past its use by date if its that hard to cut.. makes it easier than scoring it over and over with a blade then trying to bend and brake it across the line right though.. good idea..

Not only does this take longer, but you will be breathing the off-gassing when you heat up the FRP. DO NOT DO THIS FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH.

Is that the front side or the back side of the FRP board? Just wondering since you stated it will turn yellow if it should be heated on the back side.
Who is laughing at the .25 minute mark? And just what is so funny? :-)
Thanks for the tip!

Damn dawg. With the time that it took to heat that Hold up. I could have cut five. With a hole saw 🤣🤔 Mini Macy. That's the wrong thing to use. But it's not the tool. It's how you use

You could just use a hole saw just like a wood or metal hole saw
