the worst part is those who watched my "Girls with long hair" vid know that I'm quite a light brown girly and this darkest shade looks lighter than my skin so i can't even imagine what actual dark skin ppl have to go thuru to find their actual colours

Funfact: the beauty standard (or so ive heard) in korea is too have the lightest skin shade possible because its seen as beauty to have light skin.

This is because in south korea, most people have light skin. I’m not saying people with dark skin isn’t korean, but usually, light shades are more bought. So obviously, rather than making dark shades that won’t be sold as much, they will make light shades.
Inclusivity is beautiful though!

I'm korean, and my skin is kind of dark by korean standards. Since darker skin makes up very little of the population ig it would be a better choice to make colors that match most of koreas population, but if it isn't even dark anough to match ME (My skins HARDLEY dark, Like if you compared me to a popsicle stick I'd be slightly darker) then you know smths fckd up

tir tir that is a korean brand has some of varieties of skin tones 40 different shades. (this is just the brand problem buy off of a diff one bc the brand i bought my foundation and my friends (who is african) i bought off of tir tir.
