This is scary. Rich people pay politicians to make sure they get access to taxpayer funds first when banks shutter or they're in jeopardy of losing all their money. I feel bad for the lowest paid workers that may be affected, but not CEO's. A lot of them have created this abusive corporate pay structure where they are paid 300 to 400 times above the salary of entry level workers. Most add very little value. They posture and perform with speeches, meetings, and excessive travel to provide the appearance of working hard.

Anyone robbing the bank goes to jail but if they rob you they refer you to customer service

Pull out your money, the banking system probably are running out of funds and this is their version of a bank bailout.

The truth is that everybody wants to be financially independent and live a better life. With savvy investing, an inexpensive lifestyle, and diligent budgeting, this is not difficult to do. I'm glad I realized early on that achieving financial freedom requires hard work.

It’s Bank of America, get your funds out, this is far from a accident 🃏

Bank of America is one of the OWNERS of Zelle. That was mysteriously absent from your story. This looks like a bail-in test.

People called me crazy when I closed my bank account in 2016 and I never looked back.

I use to have a account with this bank and when I went to get money out my account they lied and said I didn’t have a account with them. That was a lie. I closed and withdraw every dime
Of my money out that bank that very day. And never looked back again. Thank you Jesus.

My grandparents lived through the 1929 crash and was really skeptical when it came to banks and their money

Make your complaint as instructed so you can get your money back and then close all your accounts with them. That's what I did. I did NOT USE ZELLE.

Get your money out of all banks.
The banking system is going to blowup.
Get your cash out now.
Hurry.

Expect more of this to happen except on a national scale soon. Check out what the FDIC meeting said in November 2022. The debt is unsustainable and they want to switch us to the digital dollar

This is why both sets of my grandparents all hid their money in their homes and yards. They knew a thing or two because they'd seen a thing or two....

BoA actually took over $2k from my account in 2016 and told me I had personally guaranteed a corporate credit card. They said the credit card account had owed the money since 2004. I NEVER had a BoA corporate credit card, nor had I ever personally guaranteed such a card. They refused to provide me with any documentation about the credit card, including - but not limited to - my signature or anything else related to the credit card account.

I’m sure I’m not the only victim of their bullshit. I didn’t have the resources to take them to court, and I didn’t have the available time from work to pursue a small claims action. I wouldn’t lose a seconds sleep if their entire bank collapsed.

This happened to me about two years ago. $900 was missing. On the third call, finally, someone was listening and I said it looked like their employees were stealing. The woman I talked to said, that she agreed.
I did get my money back - EVENTUALLY. So, at that time, I closed my accounts (I had money in savings and a Merrill Account I also closed). I didn't want to close the Merrill account.
I did not use Zelle at all.
