I used the product years ago when I had a goatee. In the beginning, it looked fake, but after a few days, the color softened so it looked more natural.

The before and after is impressive. Your beard looks much better with the dye. You might want to go one shade lighter with the dye and jump in the shower to shampoo the dye out

I sorta chuckle a bit when guys in their 40s-50s or older talk about accepting the way they look. I went completely gray in my late 20s, in my 40s I’m seeing completely white areas cropping up. You better believe I fight as hard as I can against the way I look 😂

Great how to video! It looks good. I have used the same due product and have gotten good results like you did. I use it 2-3 times a year….the first time I used it I rinsed like you in the sink never again way to messy shower eliminates that.

At 45, my beard turned grey, it easily added 15 years to my appearance. I’ll always remember my 11 yo daughter’s laugh when a waitress asked if I wanted my senior citizen discount. I shaved my beard the next day. I miss my beard.

Great video! 👍 I would recommend a good conditioning mask before using any sort of dye product. Especially if you are prone to breakage, split ends or brittle beard hair. Apply a liberal amount of warm coconut oil to the hair and leave on for about an hour, thoroughly wash the hair with a light detergent or a sulfate free shampoo before applying the chemical dye. The coconut oil can also help prevent against any skin irritation. A good alternative for chemical hair dyes is mixing water with black walnut powder(make sure your'e not allergic) or a henna based hair dye. Also want to make sure after chemically dyeing the hair to close the cuticle by spraying or wetting down the hair with a 50/50 dilution of apple cider vinegar and water. Let sit for 3-5 minutes then rinse out after with cold water. Apply a good balm or leave in conditioner after!
