I have a medium short beard since 9 months now and want to maintain like this. I’m usually trimming downward, but not always sure about this. My cheeks are not overly dense as my chin and mustache. I also have pretty grey hair which I think is shows even more with longer beard. In my case is better to continue to trim downward or give a chance to try it upwards?

Thanks dude. My facial hair is very similar to yours. I usually let the beard grow for a couple of months and then I shave it into a goatee. Now I want to try and keep the beard for a couple of more months.
