At one time, I lost my faith too. But unlike Josh or Marty, I was miserable and devastated! I hung onto what little faith I had tooth and toenail and was terrified as I felt my grip giving way on me. Even then, I still had some faith left although I continued to feel as though I were a little bird who lost her way and accidentally crashed through a small little window into a dark dank warehouse. I had no idea how to get out. So I rotted there for a few years, still occasionally crying out to God for help. It seemed either God wasn't helping me or else I just wasn't hearing the answers He was giving me. I was actually afraid to find out if my doubts were true or false, fearing that if they were true I would then be in despair. If there is no God, then what's the point of even being here? I finally faced my fears and started searching for answers to my biggest questions about God and Jesus. I found them through Ravi Zacharias and J. Warner Wallace. If you are having serious doubts, don't be afraid. There are others out there who can help guide you through it and back to the truth.

The biggest problem with Josh's books is that people viewed it as a mandate instead of a recommendation. Legalism instead of Grace.

When I first heard about the courting concept, I thought it was very bizarre and controlling. I recently read Tim Challies’ article about Harris, in which he compared Harris’ courtship teaching to the Prosperity Gospel — in the sense that it makes the promise of ultimate happiness through obeying God. My personal insight about Harris is that it doesn’t matter how much zeal or enthusiasm you have in your faith, but whether you truly have a relationship with Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.

IT is very sad to see and hear that, but it is necessary for us to do so, and examine and search our own walk to make sure our faith is in the right place, and that the root foundation is CHRIST and not our own interpretation of who we think God is, his word never change, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, many walked away from God, not God from them, thank you for those scriptures that you end the program with, it spoke very loud.

I am not so worried about Josh Harris. If he loves the Lord, God will set out to search for him. Remember, our Lord leaves the 99. Times of crises are normal in our live‘s walk. May he come out of it refined and glorify Jesus all the more for it.

He was hurt by divorce. I went through it, questioned God why is this happening to me. I did not feel like a Cristian. But I knew He is real, that He was there by my side. I must say, it really hurt, deep inside. Enough to give up. Almost went back to my old ways, getting drunk and high. But still, in that deep hurt, I felt His arm on me, I can surely say with confidence that He watched every tear fall. He gave me the strength to move on. After all that, The One and only God, Jesus, blessed me with a better wife, and two beautiful kids. Boy and a girl. I really did not understand, all you can do is hold on and wait for His answer. Trust in what you can't see. Faith, no matter what. NO MATTER WHAT!

Wow this is truly so sad. Paul said that even the elect would fall away in the last days. I never ever hold any human on a pedestal. Jesus is my all and all. Nothing and no one can ever separate me from my King. God please protect the hearts and minds of Your true followers.
