That’s why water caves are so strong on bedrock. Since diamonds typically generate more frequently while NOT touching air. All you need is a magma block and an iron pickaxe and a deep slate water cave will have you set.

This explains a lot. I always played on bedrock and got confused when people kept saying diamonds are too common, but if diamonds are much more common on java, then it really just comes down to a version difference

Bedrock player here,
As much as I play, I found that deepslate water caves have the highest diamond spawn rates. Every time I find one, it’s usually worth swimming around for half an hour to get a half stack of diamonds.

When 1.18 released tho bedrock had more diamond generation than java and in 1.18.1 the update logs said "made diamonds more common to match the main version of minecraft" which is literally proof that java is the main version i used to play mobile back then and it was arrows not a joystick

Eu ja usei X-Ray para entender a geração de diamantes do bedrock, e bem, diamantes são mais fáceis de achar da camada 12-37 e eles são MUITO separados, tendo de 1-8 + - e bem eu também vi que é bem mais fácil procurar eles em cavernas pois elas expõem muito mais fácil os diamantes e você não vai precisar mineirar ardosia, mas se você quiser mineirar, boa sorte, pois recomendo você fazer um corredor de 7 de largura e mineirar da camada 13 (pois você vai conseguir ver a camada 12 que vai estar nos seus pés) até a camada 20/19. Se você se cansar de mineirar no mesmo corredor, você da 2 blocos de distância do corredor que você fez e começar um novo. Além do mais, quando encontrar algum diamante SEMPRE cave até 2x2x2 envolta dele, pois também a geração de diamantes é bem esmigalhada, então se você ficar triste que encontrou um único bloco de mineiro de diamante, alegre-se e torça pra ter outros envolta.
