Here's a presentation that I originally made for a friend and client that I'll refer to as Big Ben. But Big Ben is more than just someone with deep pockets, he's an intelligent businessman and, above all, a logical person. Here's the difference between natural and lab grown diamonds, straight and simple, only the facts.

This man has dedicated his life to selling jewellery and just told us to spend less money and not be duped. Respect 💯

I'm gonna be honest; I thought Trax was gonna advocate for natural diamonds, but I'm happy he stuck to facts AND shared his personal bias for the lab grown.

Lab is chemically, physically, optically the same as natural. It is designed and engineered in a lab, which to me is very impressive. After spending ten thousands of dollars on jewelry for my wife over the years (Natural diamonds), I came across a factory on Reddit who sells lab diamonds (For like 50% off the market price), I purchased her an amazing tennis bracelet, Even big brands such as James Allen are selling lab diamonds 90% of the time, more and more people understand that natural diamonds are mostly a marketing gimmick. diamonds are not actually all that rare. Their value comes from the DeBeers being able to control their flow into the market

As a chem major there really is no difference outside of nitrogen impurity in natural. Lab is better ethically all depends on what you or your spouse want if they even really care.

I recently bought my wife a new engagement ring for our 15 year wedding anniversary. I purchased a VS1 G color cushion cut 3 karat LAB Diamond ring for 9 grand. Everywhere she goes people talk about how beautiful it is.

I went to sell her old 1 karat natural Marquis cut ring that I spent 6 grand for in 2005 and was offered $550 bucks . I will never buy a natural Diamond again.

Lab diamonds are just as precious as natural diamonds to me because I understand the diamond industry is grossly overinflated. I'm not in it for where it came from I'm in it for how pretty the stone looks give me the lab diamond it's literally the same thing on a molecular level and fair priced

Trax has literally stated in previous videos that SI clarity stones are a respectable standard when it comes to them being in people's jewelry. He also previously mentioned in a video with his man William that he didn't feel like making CVD/HPHT pieces unless many people began to gravitate towards that market. I never comment on videos, but the reason why I'm bringing this up is to demonstrate that even those that harbor certain opinions regarding something they're experts at will periodically change their tune if it makes sense for them financially. At the end of the day, don't be swayed by what others have to say regarding your purchases. If you like labs, by all means get them. If you like naturals, that's cool too. As long as there is honesty in what is being presented to you then it shouldn't matter what people think about your purchases, just keep in mind that ultimately business men like Max will do their due diligence and do what it takes to close a sale. I appreciate what he's doing as far as transparency goes and it's honestly been a long time coming that the jewelry industry gets shaken up, I just wish his opinions now were more consistent with those he had in the past. But then again, the man does have a business to run and market trends are forever changing. Respect from an aspiring jeweler/future business owner.

My husband and I went to a jewelry showroom and were discouraged from purchasing lab-grown diamonds, but after self-research, we found this was an ideal way to go and had a beautiful/stunning ring made for my anniversary, and he kept a great amount of money in his pockets.

So funny to to see people say resale value. Like, who buys jewelry to later sell it? Unless you're making an actual business out of it. Oh and keep you life in order so you dont have to resale lol😂

I was just looking at jewelry yesterday. And the best looking diamonds in the store. Were the Leo diamond collection. All are lab made. But the cut, color, and just the overall beauty. Was better than "real" diamonds. And you just got so much more. For your money. Wedding rings are something that you buy because you love someone. Not because you are wanting to resell them. Wedding rings are not an investment. They are a to show your commitment to someone

We just purchased a lab grown engagement ring. My fiance at first was set on natural, but when she saw what our budget could purchase, she went with the lab, and loves it.

Value retention. I would still go for lab, same molecule make up, still the same toughness as natural grown. If I had the money, I would go for GIA always

Like you said, in 10 or 20 years time lab diamonds are going to be everywhere (worthless), then surely that means the GIA diamonds will be the most valuable?

glad I found this one. you saying that you're not willing to pay for natural for yourself is so humble! ✊🏽.
