I ran my battery drain test again and it lasted around 5.5 hours so not sure why it lasted longer on the first test...

1:40. It should work with the Smart Keyboard Folio. Although it’s not officially stated that it works by Apple. It should still work due to the same 3 point connector at the back and it uses the same magnet positions as the older iPad Pro models of the 12.9 inch sizes

Edit: the Smart Keyboard folio does work with with the M2 airs

just letting you know they had to change the magnets and the wireless charging for the pencil in order to fit the camera on the side now so they didn't just do it to force you into a new pencil!

You need to review the difference between the iPad Pro M2 (2022) and the iPad Air M2 (2024). I am struggling to pick one! It would be my first iPad too.

@1:55 they sell a LOT more iPhones than iPads. That’s why they exclude it from the iPhone box. For many people it’s not their first phone and even if it is there are a ton of devices that have wall plugs for USB A or C. Most likely you own a plug already. Cuts down on e-waste. I could also argue that you can use the same plug for your iPad that you do your phone but, I’m most confident that’s the reason.

All I can say is don't get an iPad Pro with the OLED display, because there is no way you will be able to settle for this. The sounds is inferior. I think if I didn't have access to both I likely wouldn't have know the difference. But that iPad Pro OLED is like BAM!!!

It’s nice that Apple keeps on making iPads faster and equipping them with better graphics, but speed and the screen really haven’t been an issue. My iPad 9 is fast enough and the screen is good enough for everything I use it for. And THAT’s the issue! Why does my $100 Chromebook have better multi tasking than an IPad Air 5? Why does my $50 Fire Tablet have mass storage, while the iPad doesn’t? Why does my $75 Samsung A7 lte have face recognition while the iPad Air doesn’t? And why should I buy a new iPad Air when my iPad 9 can do almost everything that an iPad Air can do? iPad bc and Mac sales are both declining. IMHO they ought to just merge the two lines into one product which would have the best attributes of both.

completely a pointless product when you can get a refurbished ipad pro 2022 13 inch. Almost a lot better in every freaking aspect, except the pencil pr compatibility. not worth it. only the ipad pro 2024 is the real upgrade.
