Finally a review that understands the 13” iPad Air…it’s about getting the big screen experience for under $1, 000. I challenge anyone to walk into an Apple Store and line up the iPad Air and iPad Pro side by side and tell me where you see a $500 difference. I then challenge you to name 10 popular apps that take advantage of the 120Hz screen. I pulled up YouTube, Safari, and Angry Birds in the Apple Store and all you will notice is the Pro has a brighter screen and the speakers get a little louder…when scrolling the Air screen doesn’t feel twice as slow as the numbers on paper suggest. Apple gave me a $330 trade in credit for my 2018 iPad Pro so my new iPad Air was under $600…for a current generation Mac Book Air or iPad Pro with the same screen size you start at $1, 000. This is a great review that understands value and what makes the 13” Air so good

I went with the air 13”, and it’s beautiful. I keep getting tempted to a pro because of the colours and sound, but then I look it up and am reminded that oh yeah, in my country, the difference between is $800. Baseline. The air is plenty for what I use it for - drawing, creating designs via either Canva or Procreate, setting up planners in Keynote and Goodnotes, checking emails, shopping, testing apps and sites for compatibility for work.

I think if I was an artist for money instead of hobby, or producing video or music, things would be different. But it’s a lovely, larger-screen upgrade from the 5th gen 11” I have. It’s super tempting to get ALL THE POWER, I WANT ALL OF IT, but I can put that money towards a graphics card for the gaming rig, if I want to feel like I’m on an overpowered machine.

Earlier this year knowing new iPads were coming I decided to go for the M2 Pro for several reasons and am glad that I did it. I compared with the new Air and am glad to have the Pro as it still has the better features that I like such as better screen, speakers, camera, and thunderbolt to connect a nice screen, if needed.

I got this iPad for $599 with a student discount WITH cellular, best bang for buck iPad by far, you're really only paying for the 120hz on the iPad pro

I got myself a Magic Keyboard used for half price on eBay a couple of years ago and still use it! I definitely recommend open box or used.

Hi. Great video as always! 1 questions. Just picked up the Air M2 13” with 1TB of storage. I’m a real estate photographer and would really only be using it for light editing on the go if needed. ie: removing things, brighten shadows etc. This will be done correct?

Great vid. I just picked up an iPad Air M2 128gb in Space Gray! 😊Although the pro models are tempting I know I didn't need all the extra features they bring. I'm really enjoying the larger screen especially for reading magazines and drawing.

I love my new iPad Air. I tried my 2019 iPad Pro 12.9 for this and I couldn’t be happier. It’s great, I love ipadOS. It’s fast and the screen is amazing.

Does the screen blur and smear with motion like the Macbook screens due to low pixel response times?

I’m on the market for an iPad. I’m not a crazy productivity guy, I’d only use it for office. But at home I basically only use my old iPad Air 2017 for any daily internet activity from YouTube to safari and when I’m not in my living room or bedroom I use it to watch films and tv shows.

My MacBook Air is used literally a couple of times a year. And I want to try Apple Pencil for note taking at work and maybe if some ai tool is really good, I could try it to design icons and other illustrations for my presentations.

I think that the 13 is too big if I want to bring it to work or to take notes when wfh. And due my past experiences with iPads I think that my next model has to last as long as possible.

Given all that, what do you i should buy? Air or pro? What storage? And should I consider selling my MacBook Air and maybe get an iPad pro with magic keyboard?

I pretty much agree with your whole review. I went with the iPad Air m2 11inch from my 12.9 inch iPad Pro M1. My main reason for the jump was I was tired of the 12.9 inch size. But I just felt the new m4 pro was over kill for what I do so felt pretty good about making the jump to the 11 inch iPad Air M2.

Thanks for your input - Dont you think its better to go for the m2 ipad pro - You obviously wont get the new pencil but there is so many more advantages on the pro - from the screen refresh rate, right up to usb c thunderbolt transfer rate - slight very slight higher clock - ultra wide cam( if you do interiors perhaps or have to snapshot something to dimension - not everyone will use this) lidar scanner for certain industries to build 3d models or measurements / augmented reality- much better speakers x 4 instead of 2x same goes for the mic's and then u get face unlock vs fingerprint which is a hastle when u constantly searching for the button. They basically come in the same price if you get the air with pencil pro vs the ipad pro with gen2 pencil.
