Saved my life during an 8 day power outage mid winter last year in canada. Thank you.

This works brilliantly! I turned the heating off on the coldest day so far this winter and lit this. The wife packed and left for her mothers taking the kids with her. I'd recommend this heater to everyone.

My parents used this trick when they were first married and lived in St.Ives in the late 40’s and early 50’s when they had no money for heating. Worked a treat in a bedsit. Love a good Cornish accent!! Such a shame that Cornish as a language died out. They really should start teaching it in schools in Cornwall. Give the future generations something to be really proud of.🥰

Our great grandparents did this on a larger scale in the middle of the harsh winter.
It would keep the house around 65 and it was comfortable. Outside would be below freezing. They never had a heat bill ever.

I've used a version of this in my car a couple times. Stuck at a pull off during a blizzard in the mountains. Worked just fine.

After four years this is popping up in people's recommended. Coincidentally it's almost zero right now where I am. I'm convinced to buy little candles today. Thanks for posting!

I so love you. I'm on SSI due to the loss of my leg and health that's a running battle between utilities or medication. I stay in my bedroom most of the time so I can stay under the cover's. Now I can lose the quilt and three pairs of socks. Thank you so much.

It works! Back in the military, when sleeping in those 2 man tents, we used to put such candle under a steel helmet, during field excercises in the cold periods

All those doubting this can go on paying way to much to heat a small space. No, it's not adequate for a huge room, but for your typical 12 x 12 bedroom, it works perfectly. I've done it. The heat doesn't come from the candles so much, but from the terra cotta pot that gets extremely hot. Stop being such negative Nellies.

So glad this video came up on my list! It's so awesome and I've been struggling with how to add some heat to a small space without electricity or propane. Thank you! Blessings!

This is a great idea during a power outage in the winter, and if you dont have a wood stove or a real wood burning fireplace to keep warm until the power comes back on. Alot of people dont have generators to turn their power back on. Thank you for sharing this video.

Watching this years after it was first posted snd very intrigued. I'll be giving it a go in my shed(which is freezing) soon and post results. Looking at the positive comments, it would appear to not only work, but also be a life saver. Amazing video!

Absolutely brilliant! And your right, heating for just pennies! 6 cents to be exact. I was wondering how I was going to heat my RV. Now I know!

I'm a scientific engineer for Nasa, thanks for the video! We are using this method to heat up the surface of Mars and other very cold harsh planets
