In Scandinavia we call it Gløgg and we but almonds and raisins in. We have with or with out alcohol, some children drink it as well (with out the alcohol) I used to dip my gingerbread in it. Tastes amazing

We have a brand here in Sweden that is called Blossa glögg, and the mulled/spiced wine we prefer is the near alcohol free one, available in grocery stores. There is one that can only be bought in our liquor stores, with a orange label, that is near undrinkable. The one we prefer has a green label.

in denmark we add raisins and split almonds in the drink !! its so yummy to eat the soft raisins at the bottoms that soaked up all the wine

I have some German friends and they like to have Glühwein which seems to be similar if not the same. I don't normally drink much anymore and I really don't enjoy most red wines, but I this stuff so much!!

where i live there’s no christmas markets so i never tried mulled wine before. when i went to austria for erasmus i went to a bunch of christmas markets. it was SO COLD! i don’t even like wine but i would always grab a cup because it warmed my hands when holding it and my body witch each sip. i wish they would serve it here

We're not big wine people, so our family makes mulled apple juice; same process, shove 4L in a slow cooker and steep it with holiday spices and drink little cups of it throughout the day, it's so good

we have a kind of mulled wine here in Brazil, we call it vinho quente and we usually drink it in June during the June parties

Oh in Sweden we call that "glögg" we drink it literally every Christmas (alcohol free versions are super common so children drink it as well) with raisins and almonds in it. It's a Swedish tradition! (personally though I only add almonds most of the time since I'm not the biggest fan of raisins)

I love making it homemade~

Just put
red wine
Star anise
Cloves
Cinnamon
Sugar
Cut up ornages

In a pot, heat it up, leg it sit for 30-60min anf you got yourself a guilty pleasure for winter~~~~
Apple punch is made the same just with a good quality apple juice and leave out the oranges.

You wont go back to the premade stuff ever again!
