I recommend any local thrift stores or garage sales, they usually have good prices and you can almost always check the box (if it has one)

GameStop has worked really well for me. I haven’t got a single used game that doesn’t work and I’ve bought a lot from GameStop.

Disk Replay is a good place to go. Never had any problems with them.

There’s a game store by my house that sells old used games for pretty much every console in existence

I have bought tons of used games (especially Wii games) from GameStop. I would always open the case up to look for scratches so if there were no scratches the game worked fine.

Normally I do try to buy “new” video games. If I’m trying to save money then I might but “used” video games.

I'd recommend pawn shops, got a fully working 2DS from one of those things for $15

You can ask GameStop to test the games, but I do agree, they are definitely overpriced most of the time. I usually go to garage sales, thrift shops, and my local retro stores for used games, that’s where you get the best deals.

Idk I found GameStop very reputable for buying used Wii/Wii U games. They always worked and had a case, and I’m pretty sure I got the manual in each, along with some games even containing things like the world maps for the game.

Ok I've watched the first 5 seconds of the video and I already disagree. GameStop is completely fine for used games, but really only if you're buying in person, because you can see the quality of at least the case. I bought maybe 3 used games there totalling about 50-60 dollars and they all worked fine.

I would recommend Play N Trade. They have a lot of retro stuff!

As someone who bought from both GameStop and Amazon I've been pretty lucky with things I bought from both stores but GameStop is good for buying modern games physically and Amazon's pretty good for buying old authentic and fake cartridges

If you have a disc replay or play N trade near you, those are the stores I go to.

The gamestops that I go to make them work real well

"But why go through the hassle?"
Because if the product I bought doesn't work then I'd probably want my money back??? 🤔
