I got four out of five in this category. I'm from Illinois, too, so I figured wth, I'll give it a shot.

The last two were quite easy for their values. And the first one very difficult

5/5 for me. I really think the first for $200 was the most obscure

Man I find it hard to believe that more people know about McClellan than Douglas shocked his was the 800$ question

I'm sure at least lots of people got this category of Abraham Lincoln, he was a political icon in history!

How is the capital of the Confederacy a $1000 question, and picking out the proper Greek mathematician a $200 question? Discounting the McClellan question that none of them got, those should pretty much be reversed.

he said, DKG take it! awesome.
I got 4 of 5 -- missed the first one. ???

the first clue should have been, he read the Bible and read Euclid, and read THIS 1500s playwright ...

I ran the category until the last one. I answered Montgomery. 😢

I only got the last clue correct. The Confederate States of America formed in 1861 as an unrecognized breakaway republic of America with Montgomery, AL as it's first capital and they moved that title to Richmond, VA and kept it for long until it moved to Danville, VA which was a month before the CSA surrendered and dissolved.

Surprised they missed McClellan - he's not exactly an unknown figure.

"Who is Sherman" when the answer was "Mclellan" is a terrible, terrible answer. It's like the opposite.

I know they still spell the name of the party 'Republican' and still call itself the Party of Lincoln, but nothing else is the same.
