Fun fact abt his death .. he got shot in the fords theater in Washington DC by someone’s name I forgot him and his wife came to see a play so did many other people-at a scene where they were laughing or clapping at the play the guy who shot him shot him in the back of his head jumped then jumped onto the stage ( Abe was on the 2 story type thing ) broke his leg I think and got away onto his getaway horse.he ran into an alley and so on Abe didn’t die there After John Wilkes Booth (guy who shot him ) shot President Abraham Lincoln, soldiers carried Lincoln from Ford's Theatre and across Tenth Street, so that he could pass his last moments peacefully, surrounded by those who knew him best. He died in the Petersen family's boarding house at 7:22 a.m. on April 15, 1865. In Washington DC you can vist Ford theater and Petersen family's boarding house
