Wow! This sounds awesome! Solves some of my biggest current problems with the pump. Can't wait for it to arrive in Australia in 2050!

The adhesive pouch combined with remote bolusing would be fantastic for parents of infants and toddlers.
'pods hold the top spot in functional utility there.

Love the video. Many thanks for the 4 ALL FAMILY Coolers link. Can get rid of my old travel beer cooler I use for insulin.

so amazing! it’s so tiny lol. i can see some choosing to wear it adhered to the body if they are wearing a non-friendly pump outfit, like a dress or romper.

Type 1 for 32 years and currently have the Tslim/ Dexcom G7. Im due soon for a pump upgrade so I wanted to do some research on the Mobi. My takeaways: I love the fact that its smaller but I do not like the fact that it has wireless charging. If the charger breaks or gets lost, you cant charge it. Also you need to make absolutely sure its compatible with your cell phone. When I first got my Dexcom it wasnt compatible with my 6 month old phone, I was not happy. I literally had to buy a new cell phone. As far as the adhesive pocket I would not wear it where people could see it but It is PERFECT for us girls that wear dresses and bathing suites. Im so tired of wearing shorts with pockets under my dresses. I can just stick it to my tummy under my dresses. However, do to the wireless charging thats a deal breaker for me. Thanks so much for the video, it helped a lot😊

I’m trying the mobi right now coming from an Omni pod. So far getting it reloaded and putting it on is difficult. Omnipod is so easy but … the tech involved with this pump is great and I’ve been in better range but I was in tears trying to redo a cartridge. There are available videos and it customer service but still. I had in house training which seemed great. Just very overwhelming .. but I’m trying. Everything in life is a test.

I have been doing my research (due to switch out my pump Nov./Dec.) and watching a lot of your content in the process. Thank you so much btw for your informative videos- they are SO, SO helpful. Can you please tell me if the Tandem Mobi can be used WITHOUT a CGM? This is rarely addressed anywhere with absolute clarity.

Does the pump communicate with the CGM directly without the phone? For example i forget my phone is control IQ still working or is the phone everything?

My granddaughter is just 5 years old, we will probably still keep the tubing and not use the pouch, saving her skin, but the smaller size to hide is the winner.

Awesome video! Honestly I was surprised when initially researching Mobi how few images let alone videos I could find of the pump. So this video was just the type of thing I was looking for.

I agree that as a pseudo patch pump it feels less than ideal. But for those that prefer a traditional pump and tubing approach this looks very promising. 😊

I wonder with the Mobi, if insurance will pay for insulin as part of DME as it is administered through an insulin pump with tubing, or if the insulin will be covered under a pharmacy plan as it is with an Omnipod?

So interested in these. As someone who just got a CGM a few months ago, I’m starting to get more and more curious about pumps

I'd like to switch because my omnipod.5 leaks so often, and I have had to replace dozens of them in the last year, but I don't wear jeans and I like the ones that you can attach to your body so I will just have to wait I guess.

Wow. Before seeing this, I had imagined the Mobi might work okay as a quasi-tubeless system, but seeing that photo, nope! No thank you. If the Omnipod 5 algorithm weren't working for me, I might consider it because it sounds like the Tandem Control IQ does work better for lots of people, but i believe I'll stick with OP5 for now. Thanks for showing this.

Justin, do you know what processor is used in the mobi? It was supposed to be an upgrade over the tslim X2. Also, do you know the mechanical pump type in the mobi? The tslim X2 used a positive displacement pump rather than a screw drive, which is one of the reasons I switched to it when it first came out. I had MiniMed screw drive pumps for years but positive displacement is more precise and is most often used in chemical systems such as hospitals. When you replace the cartridge in the X2 you are also replacing the pump diaphragm.

When is it going to be available to get? I'm very interested in getting it. I also heard it will only link up to the IOS and not the Android?
